Axel is an illustrator and artist based in the UK. His process includes working with mostly inks, pencils, and digital programs. Axel graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in Illustration to refine his skill to become a practising illustrator. His passion for illustration stems from personal experiences told in fantastical narratives, and hopes to inspire people of all ages with his deeply-researched projects that reflect real-life perspectives. Axel also has experience in monoprinting, RISO, tetra-pack printing, and vinyl. He has participated in The Batsford Prize 2024 with “A New Star in Gaza”, as well as creating concepts for an Ocado summer van campaign.
